It’s been almost a year since the last episode of Walker aired, but the wait is finally over. Season three will officially begin on October 6 at 20:00 EST (17:00 PST), and there’ll be a new episode each week, likely until Summer 2023. Sound good? Below we’ll explain how to live stream Walker, even if you’re traveling abroad, so that you never have to miss a moment of the action.
This post will only recommend official sources. While third-party streams may be available, these are usually very low quality and can be taken offline at any moment for copyright violation. On the plus side, there are plenty of legitimate ways to watch this Walker, Texas Ranger reboot, and some of them are actually free, making unofficial streams essentially pointless.
Walker season 3 will only be shown on region-locked streaming services. If you leave your home country, you’ll need a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to continue watching.
How to stream Walker season 3 online from abroad
VPNs are privacy tools that hide your true location and prevent anyone (including your service provider) from seeing what you get up to online. They’re also great for regaining access to your usual streaming services during a vacation abroad, and we’ll explain how to do this below:
- First, you’ll need to subscribe to a reputable VPN provider. We recommend NordVPN although Surfshark and ExpressVPN are two excellent alternatives
- Download and install the VPN app onto any device you use for streaming. Most major providers allow at least five simultaneous connections, so don’t worry if there are a few
- Log into the app and choose one of the available servers in your home country. You’ll be assigned a new IP address that makes it seem like you never left
- Visit your usual streaming service and try playing a video. You should be able to watch as normal, with no errors. If this doesn’t work, clear your cookies and try again
If you’re planning on watching Walker live, we strongly suggest testing your VPN with your preferred streaming service ahead of time. This reduces the chance of you missing out due to last-minute technical trouble. The VPNs above all offer free, 24/7 live chat, which makes getting help as quick and easy as possible.

How to watch Walker season 3 online on US TV
The third season of Walker will air exclusively on The CW. Now, this network doesn’t offer a live stream on its website, but it will add new episodes to its on-demand catalog the day after they air, starting October 7. The only issue is that these don’t stick around forever, so it’s a good idea to catch up while you have the chance.
If you would like to stream The CW live, you’ll need a YouTube TV account. These cost $64.99 USD per month, but there is a one-week free trial so you can see if the service is worth the price. fuboTV also carries The CW in a few select locations but won’t work for most people.
Unfortunately, if you’re not quite up to date, you’ll need an HBO Max subscription (prices start at $9.99 per month). This service is currently the only place in the US where you can watch Walker seasons one and two online.
These services are only normally available in the US but it’s possible to access them abroad with the help of a US VPN server. NordVPN comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, allowing you to try it risk-free. If you’re unsatisfied, or are only out of the country for a short time, just cancel during this window for a full refund.
Where else can I watch Walker online?
Don’t live in the US? No problem, there are a couple of other countries where you can stream Walker online. Take a look below to find out which networks are showing the new season where you are:
Canada
Walker season three will air in Canada the same day that it’s shown in the US (weekly, starting October 6). The only difference is that it’ll be shown on CTV Drama. If you have a cable TV subscription, you’ll be able to sign into the website and watch this channel live, or catch up on any recently-aired episode, at no added cost.
If you don’t have cable, don’t panic: you can still stream the most recent episode free-of-charge, without signing in. You’ll have to hurry though, because these will require you to log in as soon as the next episode airs. Currently, there’s no way to watch the first two seasons of Walker online in Canada.
CTV is geo-blocked and won’t work if you’re outside of Canada. A VPN can help you regain access to this service while traveling abroad.
Australia
New episodes of Walker will arrive on Stan the day after their US premiere (beginning October 7). This service costs $10 AUD per month and comes with a 30-day free trial. Best of all, it has the first two seasons as well, making it an ideal place to get caught up ahead of the premiere.
Stan is normally only available in Australia. However, if you’re out of the country, you can use an Australian VPN server to continue streaming as normal.
What can we expect from Walker season 3?
The only info we’ve had about the new season is from the latest Walker teaser trailer. It shows Cordell’s kidnap and torture, but also lets us know that he has a team coming to his rescue. His daughter mentions, “it seemed like a good time to start fresh,” but unfortunately, it seems Walker’s enemies disagreed. Without any further details, the only way to find out what happens is to tune in for yourself when Walker season begins this October.
Who stars in the third season of Walker?
As far as we know, all of the main cast will be returning for season three, barring Lindsey Morgan who played Micki Ramirez and left part way through season two. As such, fans can expect to see all of their favorite characters again, including:
- Jared Padalecki (Supernatural) as Cordell Walker
- Molly Hagan (How to Get Away with Murder) as Abeline Walker
- Coby Bell (Lucifer) as Larry James
- Mitch Pileggi (The X-Files as Bonham Walker
- Ashley Reyes (American Gods) as Casie Perez
- Jeff Pierre (Once Upon a Time) as Trey Barnett
