Riyadh Season 2023 is in full sway and next up is the highly anticipated Day of Reckoning. The boxing event consists of eight fights with two heavyweight bouts serving as co-main events: Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin and Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker. It’s set to take place on Saturday, December 23 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this post, we’ll explain how you can watch Day of Reckoning live online from anywhere in the world by using a VPN.
We’re only recommending official sources for watching Day of Reckoning. With popular sporting events like this, there are usually a lot of unlicensed streams. The trouble is that unofficial streams tend to be very low resolution, suffer from a lot of lag and buffering, and are loaded with intrusive ads. Another issue is that many are taken offline for violating copyright. By sticking with the official sources as listed below, you can stream Day of Reckoning in the highest possible quality without the risk of missing out.
Day of Reckoning is only available to stream on region-locked platforms. Traveling abroad? You may need to connect to a VPN server in your home country to continue watching.
How to watch Day of Reckoning online with a VPN
When you use a VPN service to connect to a server in your home country, you change your IP address and spoof your location. Not only is this beneficial in terms of security (your internet traffic is encrypted) and privacy, it allows you to bypass geographic restrictions on content. This includes the geo-blocks on platforms showing Day of Reckoning.
Here’s how to live stream Day of Reckoning using a VPN:
- First, you’ll need to sign up with a VPN provider. We recommend NordVPN although Surfshark and ExpressVPN are two equally reliable alternatives.
- The next step is to download and install the VPN app on your streaming device. You can use the above VPNs to connect multiple devices at the same time.
- Open the VPN app before connecting to a server in your home country. This is how you change your IP address to navigate the geographic content restrictions.
- You should now be able to access your usual home streaming service regardless of your physical location. Content should play without further restriction.
- If you’re having trouble, it’s worth clearing your cookies. You may need to try multiple servers to find one that works (and refresh your browser between each new attempt).
Day of Reckoning will air live on DAZN (in countries worldwide) as well as on TNT Sports in the UK. We recommend you test your VPN with your chosen platform ahead of time. That way, you have time to troubleshoot any issues with your VPN’s customer support.

How to watch Day of Reckoning live online
Day of Reckoning is a PPV event that will be available to stream globally on DAZN. It’s set to start at 11 AM ET (8 AM PT / 4 PM GMT) although the main event isn’t expected to start until 2 PM ET (11 AM PT / 7 PM GMT).
You need a DAZN subscription and must then purchase the PPV event on top of it. Subscription prices vary by country but you can expect to pay USD $19.99 a month in the US. In the UK, it’s priced at GBP £19.99/month. The PPV price is a further $39.99 in the US and Canada, £19.99 in the UK, and $21.99 (USD) in local currency in the rest of the world.
Even if you travel overseas, you’ll still be able to watch Day of Reckoning live online. It’s just that you’ll be redirected to your current country’s version of the sports streaming platform. For example, if you’re from the US but travel to Canada, you’ll be redirected to the Canadian version of DAZN.
If you want to watch the fight via your home country’s version of DAZN, or you’re traveling to a country in which DAZN isn’t available (such as China), you’ll need a VPN. NordVPN is the best VPN for DAZN and comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, giving you the chance to try it for yourself, risk-free.
Where else can I watch Day of Reckoning live online?
Boxing fans in the UK have another option for watching Day of Reckoning. The PPV will be available to purchase and stream via TNT Sports Box Office (available to purchase from Tuesday, December 19). The price will be the same as the UK version of DAZN (£19.99). The difference is you don’t need a base subscription to watch this PPV event on TNT Sports. As such, it’s the more affordable option for UK viewers.
TNT Sports is only available in the UK. To access it while on vacation abroad, you need to connect to a VPN server in the UK for a UK IP address.
Can I use a free VPN to watch Day of Reckoning?
Unfortunately not. Free VPNs simply don’t work with DAZN (and the vast majority struggle with TNT Sports as well). Not only do free VPNs offer few servers in even fewer locations, they tend to be far too slow for streaming anyway. Most free VPNs throttle user bandwidth to better manage their limited networks. This is evident in the form of lag and buffering when streaming content (it’s even worse with live streams such as Day of Reckoning).
You should exercise caution with free VPNs due to their lack of security. Many won’t properly encrypt your data, which may expose personal and private information to cybercriminals. Some free VPNs make money by spamming you with annoying, irrelevant ads (some of which may be malicious in nature). Others log your data (including your browsing history) and sell this information to third parties.
