The massive heavyweight bout between Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou will happen on Saturday, March 8. The winner of the fight is bound for a Heavyweight title fight against whoever comes out on top out of Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury. Bear in mind that whoever wins the Tyson vs Usyk fight will have all the belts for the first time in 20 years. That means, theoretically, Ngannou could become the undisputed Heavyweight champion in his third professional fight.

Who is the favorite to win Joshua vs Ngannou
Unsurprisingly, Anthony Joshua is the favorite to win this highly anticipated boxing fight. This comes as absolutely no shock considering that it will only be Ngannou’s second professional boxing match. However, following his incredible performance against the man many consider to be the best Heavyweight boxer alive, Tyson Fury, there is no doubt that many people will be holding their breath.
When Joshua lost to Andy Ruiz, many people felt that he had been exposed for having a weak chin. If this is true, and Ngannou hit him even once, then it seems plausible that the glass jaw will break into a thousand tiny pieces because Ngannou is officially the hardest puncher in the world.
It is also worth noting that this fight is scheduled for 10 rounds. This may also play into Ngannou’s hands. In the fight against Tyson Fury, the fight was booked for 12 rounds, and Ngannous admits that because he had never fought before, he was wary that he might become tired in the later rounds. He claimed after the fight, that he left too much in the gas tank and could have unloaded more earlier in the fight.
With the fight booked for ten rounds, Joshua may face an even more frightening opponent than Fury did, and that could become a headache for Joshua pretty quickly. Of course, the sensible bet is to go with the massive -400 favorite, but when the underdog is Ngannou it seems like a good chance to chance a few dollars the other way.
