PrivateVPN might have a small network (with around 200 servers in 63 countries) but it’s still well worthy of your consideration.

Choosing the best VPNs for an Israel IP address: Our methodology

It’s harder than you might think to get an IP address from Israel. That’s because many VPNs simply don’t have a presence in the country. Of course, there are other things to think about too, like whether your chosen service is fast or secure enough for your needs. To identify the best providers on the market, we tested them in the following areas:

Speed

There’s nothing more frustrating than a VPN that noticeably bogs your connection down. To make sure this doesn’t happen to you we carried out speed tests while connected to each provider’s servers in Israel.

We took our measurements using the desktop version of the Ookla speed-testing app at three points during the day: morning, noon, and afternoon. To try and keep the tests representative of the average user, we rate-limited our base connection speed to 250 Mbps.

Once the results were in, we averaged them and converted them into scores out of 10 for each provider. The relative differences between the VPNs that you see below will hold even if your connection is slower or faster than ours.
